This object puppet piece uses everyday items to remind us how to connect and live alongside one another. "Customs" investigates the prejudice at our national borders, but helps restore empathy by bringing life to the luggage of strangers.

Puppet Improv Troupe

Commerce Street was a long format improvisational comedy troupe formed in 2012 by students from Sarah Nolen’s class “Intro to Puppet Improv” taught at the Dallas Comedy House.
Sarah directed and performed in the troupe alongside improvisers Darek Tatum, Gregory Hernandez, Nick Scott, & Karissa Thorpe.
